Beáta Fodor is the Editor-in-chief and Publishing Director of the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County and Heves County Newspapers

Beáta Fodor, journalist and economist, began her career in journalism at Szolnok Néplap (People’s Gazette), then worked as a journalist associate at the daily Jászkun Krónika (Jászkun Chronicle), after which she was an associate employee at Szolnok Radio 2000. She has been working at the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Új Néplap (New People’s Gazette) since 2003, as an advertising consultant in the beginning and public affairs and economics journalist later on. She has been the advertising manager of Új Néplap since 2007, concurrently to which she also assumed the advertising manager position at the Heves Megyei Hírlap (Heves County Daily) from 2013.

Her predecessor János Bán left the publisher by mutual consent. He was appointed editor-in-chief of the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Új Néplap from 2004 and publishing manager from 2010. He also took on the editor-in-chief and Publishing Director position at the Heves County daily from 2012.
