Hétvége Supplement of Népszabaság To Get a Revamp

In addition to the usual reports, political and social issues, Kentaurbeszéd (Centaur speech), feuilleton, and historical review columns, four more pages and new columns will be added to the Hétvége supplement of Népszabaság. In addition to the larger number of pages, the revamp will be striking in terms of the content: several new columns will offer an interesting weekend read to the readers of Népszabadság.

Arcok (Faces), a successful column of the political newspaper, presenting portrays of people of note to the readers from a different point of view, will return in the supplement.

The weekly column ‘Az Ügy’ (The Cause) will bring the hottest topics of public life with data and figures, and a lot of new information. In the column ‘A Hét Képe’ (Picture of the Week) the readers will witness the shocking, captivating or unforgettable moments of the past week through the eyes of the photo journalists of Népszabadság. The journalists of the newspaper will also present recently released books in the book review column, and of course, the feuilleton column and ‘Kentaurbeszéd’ penned by public figures will continue. Semi-past, recent past, the day before yesterday – a series of memorial articles written by our colleagues: Örök rangadók (Showdowns to remember) by István Hegyi, Hólánc (Tyre-chain) by Sándor Révész, and Lelőhely (The Dig) by Judit N. Kósa.

Revamping the Hétvége supplement is part of the programme announced by Népszabadság at the start of this month, which aims to ensure that the in the long run the political newspaper will achieve the largest circulation.
