The April issue of Manager Magazine, a premium economic monthly for top and middle level executives and decision makers, will have a new look, more provocative content and higher print run. The editorial team, made up mostly of renown journalists of Világgazdaság and Népszabadság, is also expanded. Manager Magazine is already the leading business and economic magazine in Germany, and the purpose of these recent changes is to reach number one position also in Hungary.
Nowadays there are only a few economic monthlies in Hungary. Mediaworks makes it no secret that the objective of the re-positioning of Manager Magazine is to regain its earlier position, and measure itself up to competitors in a fair, yet slightly provocative and humorous style.
From now on, Manager Magazine is published monthly, with cover stories analyzed in much more detail, complex professional analyses, summaries, and articles about specific topics. Besides corporate, business and sectoral trends and analyses, the redesigned Manager Magazine focuses more than ever on lifestyle-related topics. In response to readers’ needs, the magazine will also feature articles about gadgets that make everyday life easier, cars, travel and sports tips, and gastronomy articles.
Starting this month, Manager Magazine has forged an expanded editorial team of over 30 journalists and public/economic/cultural opinion shapers, including members of the Világgazdaság and Népszabadság team.
The layout of the magazine is also significantly changed: the cover now features graphics instead of cover photos, and paper quality is also improved. The redesign process is expected to be concluded in June. The May issue of the magazine will already have over 120 pages, with more surprises to come in early summer.
