| As in every year, Népszabadság Awards were handed out on Hungarian Press Day, 10 March, for outstanding journalistic performance to employees of Népszabadság. Editor-in-Chief Murány András handed over the awards to the four award winners, voted best performing employees by the editorial team in 2015.
This year’s Népszabadság Award winners are Csepelyi Adrienn, Palugyai István, and Körösi Ivett, along with journalist Marnitz István, who received a Certificate of Merit for writing the most ‘best of the day’ articles in 2015. At the award giving ceremony, Murányi András thanked the committed work of the Népszabadság team, without whom Népszabadság would not be a leading newspaper in Hungary, and talked about plans regarding the print and online (Nol.hu) versions. |
